Overall responsibility for optimizing digital properties, channels and spend to attract, engage and convert inbound traffic from target audience verticals and geographies. Lead strategy and manage paid programs, website optimization and organic search, ensuring programs are driving qualified traffic. Manage digital marketing plans and goals to meet performance targets and ensure alignment with fiscal budgets and forecasts.
Manage the range of paid programs including search, social,display/re-targting and affiliate to optimize spend within and across channels.
Manage search engine optimization efforts, working internally cross-functionally to develop content strategy and translate business goals into SEO strategies.
Manage the website to optimize user experience and conversions. Input to website redesign. Work in coordination with CMO to ensure site provides engaging journeys for target audiences and optimizes conversions.
Responsible for site optimization strategy and planning, including site A/B site and user testing. Work in collaboration with email marketing to test and optimize landing pages for campaigns.
Manage digital marketing promotional cadence and planning, in coordination with broader marketing campaign plan, including development of new and innovative ideas, programs. Socialize channel strategy, priorities, and goals to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective performance marketing management.
Meticulously measure campaign performance and ROI, leveraging analysis and data to identify optimization opportunities. Socialize campaign analysis and hindsights. Synthesize information to clearly communicate key learnings, actionable strategy, and recommend new opportunities to leadership.
Oversee channel briefs, ensuring all requests meet campaign needs and timelines. Responsible for approval of all assets before campaign launch including campaign QA.
Continuously stay up to date on industry trends and innovations to maintain detailed knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
Feed Email and Business Development Channels
Ensure the digital programs provide a steady stream of inbound leads in relevant target markets to feed the Email channel and Business Development Team.
Collaborate with email marketing to ensure leads are scored, nurtured and routed appropriately.
Data & Insight
Provide detailed results reporting and accurate dashboards.
Use data-driven insight to optimize programs and spend.
Collaborate with marketing operations to ensure tracking and systems are in place and working to enable effective reporting and dashboards using HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics and other relevant systems.
Team & Budget
Manage digital budget to achieve target results and optimize spend.
Cost effectively manage relationships with outside vendors as necessary for any campaign execution.
Collaborate with marketing team demand generation functions including email marketing, marketing operations, content marketing, outbound marketing, branding, and product marketing to deliver integrated campaigns.
COMPETENCIES KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Minimum 7 years of digital marketing experience, including experience in paid search, paid social, organic search, display/re-targeting, affiliate programs, and website management/optimization in a global, B2B software company. Minimum 2 year management experience with direct reports and agencies.
Recognized as a tech-savvy digital marketer. Passionate about digital marketing best practices.
Self-motivator with collaborative spirit.
Proven track record of managing digital marketing channels to deliver qualified traffic and leads, and successful performance and budget optimization delivering ROI.
Strong analytics skills including ability to synthesize data and provide insights and strategic actions.
Strong project management and process development capabilities.
Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and experience manipulating data and performing calculations in Excel to create reports (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, formatting, and dashboards).
Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, business or related subjects
Proficient with CRM systems and Marketing Automation Systems. Salesforce and Hubspot experience advantageous.
Previous experience in B2B software/SaaS strongly preferred. Experience in the Salesforce ecosystem a plus
