The purpose of this role is for you to increase brand awareness and credibility of CloudSense and its technology globally, with a particular focus in the US. You will be responsible for driving an overall increase in media share-of-voice and industry analyst awareness. You will report to the VP Content & Product Marketing who is based in London and collaborate closely with the relevant marketing, product, industry, sales and business leaders. The CloudSense Marketing team is based across New York and London.
You will design and execute proactive strategies, plans and campaigns to maximize positive positioning and media coverage for CloudSense. The role will include direct media relations as well as the recruitment and management of a PR Agency to help support our ambitious plans. Industry Analyst relations is also a key part of this role.

Identify and distill key media messages from research and marketing material to position CloudSense as a thought leader
Recruit a PR Agency that is ideally placed to increase brand awareness and position CloudSense as a global leader in the market
Manage and develop professional working relationships with Agency, key journalists, internal clients and Analysts
Plan, execute and measure the global PR plan to maximize our editorial share of voice, and generate positive editorial comments focused on the media that will be relevant to our target customers
Create, deliver and execute global and US media strategies to support key markets
Align PR strategy with company’s global brand and approach. Enable CloudSense leadership to support the PR strategy.
Collaborate with business leads in key markets to generate media interest in CloudSense
Work with colleagues to lead timely responses to media and Analyst requests
Work with wider marketing team to integrate media into key events
Develop speaker pitches for CloudSense Execs and customers at relevant industry events
Act as the first point of contact for media and analyst enquiries
Work with wider marketing team to develop a network of non-traditional media contacts such as bloggers, influential people, and word-of-mouth advocates
Create and submit relevant industry award entries
Work directly with CloudSense customers to generate newsworthy win announcements, case studies, speaking opportunities and press engagements
Manage global and local relationships with industry analysts such as Gartner, Forrester and boutique analysts
Develop an influential, internal network that generates a constant stream of company and product news that can be communicated externally through regular news releases
Education: Relevant Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in media relations/corporate communications agency or client side
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Gartner and/or Forrester analyst experience
Existing relationships with media in Software, Communications and/or the Salesforce Ecosystem
Working within an international/global company
Excellent writing and editing skills for audiences ranging from general to business to technical – including press releases, talking points, Q&As, white papers, etc.
Software or Communications industry journalism background a plus
Excellent media relations skills and ability to develop stories and understand news cycles – with the support of public relations agency resources
High-level understanding of the dynamics and critical issues in the communications, media and technology sectors
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Passion for executing deliverables and programs that are of the highest quality
Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues
Ability to work both autonomously as well as collaboratively with other areas of the company
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
