KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREA
Plan, execute and analyze email marketing campaigns and programs to increase sales prospects and promote brand, product and service awareness within agreed targeted vertical markets and geographies.
Develop email marketing plans and goals to meet global performance targets. Develop strategies and implementation plans for email campaigns/programs to reach priority target audiences across industries and geographies. Campaigns will target prospects, partners and customers.
Reponsible for the creation, writing, scheduling, delivery and measurement of email campaign activities and coordination with other campaign tactics including direct mails, social posts, Google Adwords, events, etc., as defined by the campaign plan.
Ensure flawless technical execution of email programs through ongoing, detailed review and testing, ensuring maximum deliverability and mitigation of risk.
Lead development and implementation of email testing roadmap. Partner with the Digital Marketing to develop and implement landing page testing and personalization.
Construct and implement email programs to ensure a steady stream of inbound leads to feed the Business Development Team.
Responsible for compiling, analyzing and leveraging performance data to identify optimization opportunities.
Enhance personalization strategy through the use of segmentation and marketing automation.
Socialize campaign analysis and hindsights. Synthesize information to clearly communicate key learnings, actionable strategy, and recommend new opportunities to leadership.
Marketing Automation, Data & Operations
Manage the administration, email marketing and demand generation functions in HubSpot.
Liaise with marketing data and operations members to ensure email marketing data managed to ensure campaign success and meet regulatory requirements.
Ensure all email marketing and demand generation program elements are tracked correctly within HubSpot and Salesforce to allow detailed reporting.
Team & Budget
Manage to budget for email and marketing automation programs. Cost effectively manage relationships with outside vendors as necessary for any campaign execution.
Work closely with Content and Product Marketing to ensure quality content is available for all email programs, supporting each stage of the buyer journey for targeted personas.
Partner with Content, Product Marketing, and Design to design and fuel email programs with the appropriate branding, messaging and assets to attract and engage the targeted buyer personas at all stages of their journey.
COMPETENCIES KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
5+ years of email marketing experience managing email campaigns from start to finish, taking ownership of initiatives and manage them from inception through successful completion. Track record of delivering results to build pipeline.
Recognized as a power user of marketing automation, HubSpot preferred, with strong grasp of demand generation process and principles. Highly proficient in Salesforce CRM.
Strong project management and process development capabilities. Able to manage time, budget and projects effectively.
Strong experience in working directly with the sales teams and understanding the sales process and requirements.
Proven strategic thinking, analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
Experience manipulating data and performing calculations in Excel to create reports (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, formatting, and dashboards).
Experience in a mid-size, global B2B software or technology company is advantageous.
Detailed knowledge of email marketing best practices and both domestic and global regulations including CAN-SPAM and GDPR.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, communications, business or related subjects
