KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks that will be used to automate regression testing across the entire CloudSense product suite.
Specifically, you will:
Work with architects, developers and testers to understand product capabilities and test approach in order to design the optimal automation framework for each product or type of product
Build and maintain a suite of test automation frameworks, ensuring that advances in component technologies are leveraged as appropriate, and new CloudSense features are able to be tested
Support the creation of automation test scripts by providing training and reference materials, such as example scripts and user documentation, to the wider test team
Champion the use of test automation within the CloudSense Product Team, and seek opportunities to improve product delivery through the use of test automation
There may additionally be an opportunity to plan and undertake performance, scalability and stress testing of some CloudSense software components

Applicants should be aware that CloudSense conducts its business in English, and all applicants are expected to be proficient in verbal and written English communication.
In addition, some occasional travel may be required to regional offices – principally London, UK and Zagreb, Croatia. This will be infrequent and for short periods.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Candidates must have minimum of 5 years experience in commercial software development or software testing, minimum of 2 years experience in test automation, and be educated to degree level in a relevant technical subject.
Experience building test automation frameworks that use Selenium
Experience creating automation test scripts using Selenium or similar frameworks
Knowledge and experience of software testing concepts, including best practices related to automation testing and web-application testing
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
Experience preparing test data, programmatically or through other automated processes
