CloudSense chosen to help drive RBI’s digital growth plan to transform ad sales operations in UK and Netherlands

    CloudSense, a global leader in Salesforce native commerce solutions, has been selected by Reed Business Information (RBI) to rapidly grow its cross-media and digital advertising revenues.

    A unified sales experience on Salesforce

    The CloudSense Platform will replace RBI’s legacy systems in the UK and Netherlands to provide a global solution that improves ad sales processes. With CloudSense, RBI will create a unified sales experience on Salesforce and fully integrate into Google’s DFP Ad server system to drive the organization’s sales transformation program across operations in the UK and the Netherlands.

    RBI is addressing the market shift to digital while continuing to protect existing print ad revenues. Its legacy systems were preventing sales teams from further expanding digital sales to complement established print titles such as New Scientist, Estates Gazette, and Farmer’s Weekly in the UK and Boerderij in the Netherlands.

    RBI has initially bought CloudSense Platform licenses for 250 people. Salesforce Sales Cloud is already successfully running in the Netherlands and is being implemented by the RBI team in the UK working with a joint team on the CloudSense integration. “This will give our businesses and sales teams a single view of their markets and improved efficiencies through sharing information, user training, support and development activities,” says Bedwell.
